Our Philosophy
I don't think people need another list of places to visit. There are enough guidebooks, social media posts, and "must-see" lists telling us where to go and what to do. Somewhere along the way, travel started feeling like something we had to accomplish instead of something we were meant to experience.
I don't believe the best vacations are the ones where you check off the most landmarks or race from one city to the next. In fact, I think that's exactly why so many people come home needing another vacation.
To me, great travel feels different.
It's wandering through a neighborhood with nowhere particular to be. It's finding a coffee shop you love and going back the next morning because it feels familiar. It's buying fresh bread, cheese, and vegetables from the local market and making dinner at your Airbnb instead of chasing another reservation. It's learning the rhythm of a place rather than trying to see every corner of it.
Whether you're skiing in the Alps, riding horses through the Scottish Highlands, sailing along the coast, exploring a wine region, or spending two weeks in the same village, I don't think there's one right way to travel. Fast or slow isn't the point.
The point is to be present enough to actually experience where you are.
Travel has taught me that the best moments are rarely the ones you planned. They're the conversations with locals, the wrong turns that lead somewhere unexpected, and the little places that never make it onto social media but somehow become the places you remember most.
That's what Passport by Pace is built around. Not seeing more. Experiencing more.
I don't want people to come home feeling exhausted from their vacation. I want them to come home feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming about where they'll go next, not because they missed something, but because they discovered a different way to experience the world.
A passport gets you into a country. Pace is how you choose to experience it.
